PHILOSOPHY
Cariboo’s Library Resource Centre is a place where students can locate and retrieve information that is relevant to curriculum and personal needs from print or online sources. Collaboration between teachers and students is facilitated as the library has the space needed for instruction and discussion that can be followed by hands-on contact with technology and raw materials. Groups of students can work on projects around large tables. Individuals can work independently or read for pleasure using study carrels. A mini lab of 18 computers is available. A large collection of books is available to support both curriculum needs and personal reading interests.
