To all Parents/Guardians,
During the next week you will be receiving some information by email or letter with regards to your access to the MyEducation BC Family Portal.
MyEducation BC is the Information System used by the Ministry Of Education in Burnaby School District and in most school districts in the province.
There are several benefits associated with the MyEducation BC (MyEd BC) Family Portal.
Parents will be able to view such things as live attendance entries, student schedules, next year course requests, course achievement records and term/final report cards.
This year, the Final Report Card will be made available online; hard copies will not be sent home with the exception of our Grade 12 students.
The Portal will be available to you effective: May 1st, 2017
Parents will receive an email directly from MyEd BC with instructions on how to access the system and configure the account.
The Burnaby School District has produced reference materials for parents related to logging in and general portal use. These can be viewed at: http://blogs.sd41.bc.ca/myedbc/parent-resources/
Portal users are asked to log in shortly after receiving their user names and passwords to be sure there are no issues with the account.
If you do not have access to the internet, or are having difficulty logging in, please be sure to read the supporting documents that can be found on our website and at the district site. If you continue to have problems with access, please contact the school at (604)296-6890.
- Parents must have a valid email address to be able to access the Family Portal. Please contact the school if your email address has recently changed.
