No formal instruction or classes will occur during the week of Jan 19-23. We would like to share information regarding Assessments and Learning Opportunities that will occur this week.
Provincial Assessment Information:
We will be running our Literacy 10, Numeracy 10, and Literacy 12 Provincial Assessments that week. This is a massive undertaking to administer and requires significant staff supervision. Please CLICK HERE for more information regarding these assessments or check the school website under the STUDENT tab and PROVINCIAL ASSESSMENT INFORMATION. Students in Grades 10 & 12 should check the main entrance of the school to see when they are scheduled to write the assessments. Students in grades 11 and 12 who have not written an assessment should also check the lists posted in the main entrance. For the assessments we ask that students bring their student ID and PEN (Personal Education Number). This number can be found in their MyEd account. The Numeracy assessment has two written components- please bring a pencil and eraser to the assessment. Students with questions about the assessments should contact Ms. Mangat.
Learning Opportunities Information:
While no formal instruction or classes will occur during this time, the school is open and will welcome students for a variety of learning opportunities. The list below is just a sample of what we will be offering the week of Jan 19th–23rd but please see the complete list of activities in the link below.
- Primarily, students are encouraged to come in to complete any outstanding work or get extra help from their teachers. Students who received an IE or were not successful in Term 1 are strongly encouraged to use this time to connect with teachers to catch up on learning. Students should contact their teachers to schedule a time to come in.

- AP Tutorials
