    2025 60_40 Raffle Contest (Canva Poster)

    The 60/40 raffle will run from Dec 2, 2024, to Apr 28, 2025. I’m copying the same communication from the previous year. I am attaching a pdf poster as well.

    Friends and Families of École Cariboo Hill Secondary School

    Starting December 2nd, 2024, 60/40 raffle tickets to support Cariboo Hill Grad 2025 can be purchased at https://cariboohill.rafflenexus.com/. Please help to get the word out by sharing this email and poster with your friends, family and across your networks. 

    The 60/40 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided between one winner and the fundraising group. Due to increased expenses, we have changed the model to have the winner take 40% of the proceeds. 

    Single ticket for $5
    3 tickets for $10
    7 tickets for $20
    40 tickets for $50 *Best Value

    What’s the purpose of these raffles?  
    To raise money towards the costs for the CHSS Dry Grad event, a drug and alcohol-free party hosted in a safe and supervised environment with music, food and activities for our 2025 grads.  This event is supported by volunteers and led by the Dry Grad Parent Committee.

    Why an online raffle?
    We chose an online raffle as it’s an easy way to reach CHSS supporters. It’s easy to share the link with family and friends to support our Grad’s Event.  Raffle Nexus is a Canadian company that specializes in fundraising for not-for-profits and meets all governmental and school district requirements. Our BC Gaming License # is 157351.  

    What is the run time for the raffle?
    Ticket sales are open December 2, 2024, and close April 28, 2025, at 12:00 Noon PDT
    Ticket draw will be held on April 28, 2025, at 3:00 pm PDT

    You must be a resident of BC and 19 years old or older

    We will be running the following Provincial Assessments in October.

    1. Literacy 12 Tuesday October 29th during period 7 and 8.
    2. Literacy 10 & Numeracy 10 will be scheduled during the week of January 20 – 24, 2025.
