Are you interested in climate activism? Do you want a say in all the green initiatives coming to the district? Are you looking for ways to be more sustainable in your everyday lives? Well, oh boy, do we have the organization for you! Introducing the BYSN! The Burnaby Youth Sustainability Network is a group of high-school students from different schools throughout Burnaby that work in collaboration with the District School Board (yes, the official district school board) to promote environmental sustainability in our area. So, if you want the chance to gain valuable and transferable skills, have an impact on the larger school community, AND potentially be featured in a committee filled with district trustees, educators and more! APPLICATIONS are now due on September 27th @ 11:59 pm and successful candidates that will be followed up for interviews for our director positions will be emailed by SEPTEMBER 28th @11:59 pm!
